I believe that life, love, and friendship are the most precious gifts on earth, and from that, I value beauty, inspiration, family (in whatever form it takes), fun and laughter.
Because of my husband's previous career as a professional athlete, in my first 2-1/2 years of marriage we moved 17 times. Since that time I have moved our family and home across the country twice, owned my own business while I raised three children, and completed my post-graduate university program in life coaching. I have been self-employed for 25 years as a motivational speaker, consultant, and life coach, and I firmly believe that learning, growth, family, and career should be liberally sprinkled with humor and joy!
My clients over the years have included entrepreneurs, business people, mothers, students, retirees, teachers, artists, and "dot-com" professionals. I work with all ages and all walks of life, helping my clients get "unstuck" and move their lives forward. Some of the life challenges my clients have faced have included job loss and long-term unemployment, marriage difficulties, starting a new business, getting organized, seeking to find a new career or direction in life, solving weight and exercise challenges, struggles in raising children, and overwhelming stress in day-to-day life.
Today, my profession as a Life Coach is one of the most important things I do. When I hear the expression, "Life happens," I feel that it is not as much about what happens to a person in life as it is how the person responds. My satisfaction comes in helping people respond more effectively to life.
I live happily with my husband of 33 years in Northern California, and I enjoy swimming, sailing, decorating, traveling, walking our golden retriever, spending time with our grown children, and, especially, talking with my clients.
